Konica i-series Printer: A Major Leader in The Continuous Print Industry

For four decades, Konica Printing has been a leading provider of Continuous Inkjet printers, setting the industry standard for print quality, dependability, and versatility. Over 90% of coding applications have adopted continuous inkjet printing technology as the norm at that time. Its versatility and ease of installation—it can print on almost any surface—led to its selection. The Unijet was Konica’s first inkjet printer sold commercially. Bingo tickets were numbered using it when it was first sold in 1989. The Solo line was introduced the following year. The introduction of the EEC legislation in 1990 to mark perishable items with a “sell by” date greatly increased the technology’s potential uses.
